Have Fun After-Hours During Your Business Trip To Hurst Texas

Hurst, Texas may not be on your bucket list for travel destinations, but if you find yourself in the area for business, you will be pleasantly surprised by the local attractions and activities.
Hotels
Hurst is located right in the middle of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. There are many DFW hotels to the choose from, though one of the best choices is the Hyatt Place Fort Worth/Hurst. If you can add an extra day to your business trip, you will love to let loose in nearby Six Flags Over Texas. Six Flags is only about 13 miles from Hurst, so it’s an easy day trip. The park offers dozens of thrill rides if you are looking to let off steam. Or you can bring the whole family along and enjoy the kids’ rides and shows throughout the amusement park.
If you’d prefer a more low-key excursion, you can check out the North East Mall. Located right in Hurst proper, the mall has about 140 stores and restaurants. There is also a movie theater on site. The North East Mall is a great place to visit if you came to Hurst without a rental car. You can take a short cab ride to the mall.
For the traveler who likes to live it up at night, you won’t want to miss downtown Fort Worth. You can stroll around Sundance Square Park or laugh the night away at Hyena’s Comedy Nightclub. Music lovers will adore the Scat Jazz Lounge. Or if education and culture are your preference, you can visit the Sid Richardson Museum. Fort Worth really done have something for everyone.
Restaurants
After a long day of business meetings, many people are eager to get out and enjoy some terrific local food. Hurst has some fantastic restaurants, including Abuelo’s. Abuelo’s offers authentic Mexican food and is a favorite among locals and tourists. Italianni’s has some of the best Italian food in town and is generally packed most weeknights. If you prefer a restaurant with more local flare and flavor, try Bacon’s Bistro and Cafe, which serves American and Tex-Mex cuisine. If your company is footing the bill and you want to opt for fine dining, check out Truluck’s Seafood, Steak, and Crab House. Truluck’s food and ambiance receive consistently high ratings among restaurant patrons.
Even though most of us fret at business travel, Hurst is a nice place to enjoy yourself on nights and weekends, so be sure to take advantage of the local attractions and restaurants.
