We all have our favorite tools as digital marketers that help us get the job done. These are a few I use on an every day basis.
Regardless who you are, you need a solid understanding to work in the digital marketing field. Once you’ve gained that, you need tools to enhance and speed up your process. I would like to share with you some of the tools I use on an everyday basis.
AWR Cloud
Advanced Web Ranking Cloud I’ve used for years. It is one of the most cost effective rank tranking platforms starting at $49/month with the ability to track unlimited amount of websites, unlimited reports, and you can white label them to go out to clients. With each plan you are allotted a certain amount of keyword units to track. Syncing for Google Analytics and Google Search Console is available, which adds an extra layer of insight. There is a link analysis tool as well as social media account syncing. For the price and features, it is one of the best options on the market.
Cyfe
Lets face it, we all look at data from different platforms and different metrics. Why not see it all in one place saving time. Cyfe in the most economical all in one dashboard I’ve found, which can be tailored to your clients needs and campaigns. It simply syncs data points for a possible few hundred sources from analytics platforms, paid platforms, social platforms, to CRMs. It is widget based, so anything you see natively in terms of data can almost almost always pull into your Cyfe dashboard via widgets. For only $19 dollars a month, you get unlimited dashboards, unlimited widgets, and for a little extra they offer a completely white label solution. This is one of the most cost effective tools I use.
Hotjar
Have ever wanted more than just graphs and charts in terms of analytics? With Hotjar for only $29/month I get to record up to 10,000 pages views for heat maps, can record up 2,000 actual user sessions, and can automatically add feedback gathering options like polls and surveys. This coupled with your traditional analytics platforms like Google Analytics really gives you a great picture of what users are doing on your site and if they aren’t doing what you want them to do, steps you can take to fix it. I’ve done considerable research in offerings that include heat map, session recordings, feedback capture mechanisms, and this by far the most functional and the most cost effective.
HubSpot
Most marketers know of Hubspot. They offer several tools like their CRM, Marketing Hub, and Sales Hub. I use the professional version of their MarketingHub which is my one stop shop for social content tracking and scheduling, reporting, campaign tracking, and much more. If you aren’t familiar, they have a free version to get your feet wet, and the lowest paying option is $50 a month.
No matter what you personally use or your agency uses, I would really recommend trying several options to see which take care of your needs. These may or may not be right for you, but in terms of tools these 4 can do a lot for you for only about 130 a month put together.
