History of Tarot

Tarot originates in the mid-15th Century’s Europe. At first, it was only a simple deck of playing card that’s only purpose was to fill everyday life with some free entertainment. Later, however, at the dawn of 19th Century, people started to use it for divination. It consists of two major parts: the Major Arcana and the so-called Minor Arcana. Although Tarot cards followed the world’s improvement, and their appearance varied a lot during the upcoming decades, the meaning and the interpretation of them is still the same.
