Drone saves Australian teen swimmers in world’s 1st rescue mission with unmanned aircraft

A drone arrived to two Australian teenage boys’ rescue on Thursday once they ended up caught in perilous waves – the world’s initially rescue with the unmanned plane which was caught on camera.

A bystander alerted lifeguards following viewing the two teens, ages 15 and 17, having difficulties to remain afloat in major surf off the coastline of Lennox Head in New South Wales, Australia’s ABC News reported.

Lifeguard supervisor Jai Sheridan spotted the swimmers about two,three hundred ft offshore and launched the drone – hours after the product was taken from the box – and flew it on the area.
