Dutch police: 2 dead in stabbings in southern city

THE HAGUE, Netherlands – Police inside the southern Dutch city of Maastricht say two people have died in addition to a variety of people happen to be wounded in two stabbing incidents.

Inside a tweet, police within the southern province of Limburg say investigations are underway to the two incidents Thursday night.

Regional media report that the incidents took place in a very residential community from the north of Maastricht, a city 215 kilometers (133 miles) south in the cash, Amsterdam.
