Pablo Escobar’s hit man Popeye accused of violating parole


BOGOTA, Colombia – Colombian authorities are in search of to re-arrest a former strike guy for the late drug lord Pablo Escobar for violating his parole just after he was caught partying using a major drug trafficker.

The main prosecutor’s business office said Saturday that John Jairo Velasquez’s existence at a raucous party for Juan Carlos Mesa constituted a “very serious” offense. The U.S. had been offering a $2 million bounty for Mesa’s capture.

Velasquez, acknowledged by his nickname Popeye, was paroled in 2014 following confessing to numerous murders and investing 22 years in jail for plotting the murder of the previous Colombian presidential applicant.

Since being launched Velasquez has obtained notoriety like a YouTube star who espouses conservative political beliefs and hate-filled diatribes against leftist rebels and Venezuela*s socialist authorities.
