San Jose Sharks get some love on TV show ‘Tanked’


The Shark Tank is about to get “Tanked.”

More specifically, Friday’s episode of Animal Planet’s strike truth Television set exhibit will feature the newly-built 2,000-gallon saltwater aquarium situated in SAP Center’s BMW Lounge.

Now in its sixth season, “Tanked” follows the functions of Las Vegas-based Acrylic Tank Manufacturing, owned by brothers-in-law Brett Raymer and Wayde King. They’ve made a name for themselves by designing extraordinary aquariums, lots of for big-name famous people.

In Friday’s episode, the Sharks connect with upon King and Raymer to whip up a special aquarium – complete while using the team’s symbol and sharks – to kick from the NHL season. The episode was taped in mid-September and early Oct.

In accordance into the Sharks and Animal Planet, the clearly show will involve appearances by Sharks Main Operating Officer John Tortora, previous Sharks participant Douglas Murray, too as a scene with Sharks players Ryan Carpenter, Tim Heed, and Barclay Goodrow firing pucks with the acrylic glass accustomed to create the tank.
