8,800 without power on Lake Tahoe’s north shore

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. – Almost nine,000 households and businesses over the north shore of Lake Tahoe are without power and could be in the dead of night until finally early Friday due to an machines failure in Incline Village.

About eight,800 customers were without ability Thursday evening due to the failure reported shortly after 3 p.m.

NV Vitality estimated most electricity will be restored by 11:thirty p.m. Thursday.

Most of your afflicted location is in Incline Village.

But Liberty Electrical power spokeswoman Kathy Carter claims some of that utility’s customers have been hit far too just across the state line in Kings Beach front, California. That is due to the fact they had been temporarily receiving ability from NV Power while a substation is down for pre-winter repairs in neighboring Brockway, California.
