San Jose: Coroner identifies pedestrian hit and killed Halloween night

SAN JOSE — A 49-year-old San Jose man has been distinguished as the pedestrian hit and killed while strolling on Monterey Road on Halloween night, as per the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office.

Luis Saul Troncoso was strolling close San Jose Avenue around 8:53 p.m. on Oct. 31 when he was hit by an auto, as indicated by San Jose police.

Troncoso was hurried to a clinic, where he kicked the bucket from his wounds.

The driver who hit him halted at the scene and collaborated with specialists, police said.

The crash denoted the city’s 40th activity casualty of the year — a count that has since ascended to 41 — and was the sixteenth to include a pedestrian casualty.
